Seattle fans are frustrated after numerous car break-ins during the Seahawks vs. 49ers game

At least ten vehicles were broken into during the Seahawks-49ers game on Thursday night, causing widespread concern among fans.

The break-in occurred in a parking lot near T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field, where witnesses reported seeing broken glass scattered throughout the area.

Rasheed Romain, who attended the game, described the scene as he returned to the parking lot.

“As we walked back, we just noticed a lot of people hanging around, wiping stuff off their cars and a lot of glass on the floor,” Romain said. “People started saying loudly, ‘I’ve been broken into, my house’s been broken into.'”

Romain shared a video with KOMO News showing people moving their cars as they deal with the criminal aftermath.

“You can’t just walk away, after someone breaks into your car you have to sit there and be the one to remove all the glass from your car,” Romain said.

Fans expressed frustration at the lack of security near stadiums and the inconvenience of dealing with car break-ins.

Becky Phillips, who was at the game, said: “Even if you took everything out and they didn’t take anything and smashed the windows, it takes forever to get it done and it gives people headaches. I’m glad we did.” “Don’t take our car.”

Joe Mason, another attendee, noted the impact on fans’ experiences.

“They’re trying not to think about what’s going on with my vehicle in the parking lot,” Mason said. “We just enjoy being here. We didn’t even think about it until you get out and hear what everyone in the parking lot is talking about.”

KOMO News has reached out to the Seattle Police Department for more details on this recent wave of car robberies near stadiums.
